I am Alex Tran, 15, from Toronto, Canada and I made this piece of art for a digital art class in high school. My main inspiration for this art was the Korean movie “Parasite”. This movie shows how everyone is a parasite and is blind to the things that are right in front of them. My artwork shows this by blacking out everyone’s eyes thus showing they are blind to the issues of society. The black figure in the middle of the picture embodies all of the problems in the world, and no one can see it because everyone is so ignorant and unaware nowadays. After people look at my artwork, I want them to actually think and see what is wrong with the world and actually try to do something about it.
